25 years in Southeast Asia shopping for treasure I have never come across one of these.   It was described to me as a water container used by the Kampa people on the Tibetan plateau. The container itself is made from a Water buffalo horn featuring a Double Dorge with an iinlay of turquoise and coral. The cap is hammered Silver ornamented with Coral, Emerald , Ruby and Lapis with one centerpiece of coral.  Just amazing.
