This is one of the largest examples we can find of this material. Green Quartz Crystals growing with Calcite Psuedomorph Rosettes created a garden of crystals from large to microscopic. The green color is due to inclusions of the mineral Hedenbergite. The calcite rosettes, although still resembling calcite, have been replaced by quartz. This specimen is from Huanggangliang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China. A very special piece.
